Tradetron is a platform that facilitates algorithmic trading and automated trading strategies. It provides a marketplace where traders and strategy developers can create, share, and deploy their trading algorithms without the need for extensive programming skills. Users can design and execute trading strategies on various financial instruments such as stocks, commodities, and currencies.

Tradetron allows traders to automate their trading strategies by creating algorithms using a visual interface or by coding in languages like Python. Once a strategy is created, it can be deployed on various supported broker platforms for live trading.

Execution Types available on Tradetron are:

Paper Trading:

Simulated trading allows investors to buy and sell securities without using real money.

Live – Offline:

In cases where your broker is not algo-enabled, we will communicate trade signals through various channels (whatsapp, email, SMS, voice call). You and your broker can then proceed in a manner comfortable for you.

Live – Auto Oneclick:

You maintain control and can choose to execute trades with a one-click confirmation.

Live – Fully Auto:

Your strategy executes automatically without requiring any confirmation from you.

This flexibility caters to different preferences and scenarios, ensuring seamless integration with your trading approach.

You can get started within 5 minutes. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign up and log in to Tradetron.
  2. Navigate to the desired strategy.
  3. Click on Subscribe.
  4. Find the subscribed strategy under "My Strategies."
  5. Click on Deploy, choose "Paper Trading," and select "TT-PaperTrading" as the default broker.
  6. Track the strategy on the "Deployed" page. If it's active, it's working well, especially during India Exchange market hours (9.30 am to 4.00 pm Eastern Time Zone), where the strategy may take positions.

Congratulations, you've successfully deployed your first algo strategy! With practice, you can achieve this within a minute.

If you wish to create your strategy, it may take longer depending on complexity. To start, duplicate an existing strategy, tweak conditions/positions, and deploy. The process remains the same for deploying subscribed or created strategies.

Note: While strategy creation time varies, deploying a subscribed or duplicated strategy can be done swiftly.

There's no limit to the number of strategies you can build on Tradetron. You have the flexibility to create 10 strategies on the free plan and as many as you need on any paid plan. Furthermore, you can deploy any single strategy on paper trading entirely free of charge. If you wish to execute your strategy live, involving real trades with your broker, a paid plan is required for the same.

A deployment refers to a live instance of a strategy actively monitoring market conditions. By default, a strategy does not check for conditions until it has been deployed. Once deployed, the strategy initiates the evaluation of entry, repair, and exit conditions. It's important to note that multiple independent deployments of the same strategy can run concurrently.

Certainly! You can build upto 10 strategies on Tradetron for free, and one of them can be deployed on paper trading for an indefinite period without any cost. However, for deploying a strategy with a broker of your choice, a paid plan is required.

No coding experience is required. Tradetron is designed with a no-code framework for accessibility.

Upgrading your subscription is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to "Subscriptions" from the top-right menu in Tradetron.
  2. Click on "Change plan/renew."
  3. You will be redirected to the pricing page, where you can select your desired higher subscription and make the full payment.
  4. Upon successful payment and activation of the new subscription, the existing subscription will be automatically refunded on a pro-rata basis.

This ensures a smooth and seamless transition to your preferred subscription level.

Resolving Error - Execution Status:

When encountering the "Error - Execution status," it is crucial to address it promptly to ensure the trading engine can process your strategy effectively. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Manage" next to the status.
  2. Try Again Option:
If the issue was temporary (e.g., margin shortfall resolved), the engine will attempt to place the order again with your broker.
  3. Cancel Option:
If you decide not to proceed with the trade at the moment, select this option. The status will revert to "Live Entered," and the strategy will continue normally.
  4. Manually Completed:
If you have executed the trade offline with your broker and want Tradetron to record it for consistency, choose this option. The trade won't be executed with the broker, but it will appear in your positions. You can manually edit the price (by clicking on the instrument name) to match the broker's entry.

This is useful for strategies that couldn't exit due to an error, but the broker squared off the intraday position. After resolving, you can reactivate the strategy for the next counter.

Addressing errors promptly ensures the smooth operation of your strategy on Tradetron.

Tradetron offers monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions with multiple pricing plans. The details of the same are visible here.

Tradetron's marketplace features two types of fees, and creators can choose to implement either or both for their strategies.

Fixed Fee:

A one-time payment covers a specified period, usually one month. Once acquired, the strategy can be run at any multiplier, and multiple deployments can be made for the same Tradetron (subject to Tradetron plan restrictions).

Variable Fee:

This fee is payable after a defined period, typically one month, and is contingent on the profit generated by the strategy. The strategy creator generates an invoice based on the gross profit, aligning the fee with the success of the strategy.

Tradetron supports a wide array of options strategies, including but not limited to:

  1. Time-based spreads
  2. Scalping strategies
  3. Greek-based strategies
  4. Risk-defined strategies
  5. Naked long/short trades
  6. Multi-leg strategies (calendars, iron flies, etc.)
  7. Strategies involving multiple trades and adjustments
  8. Both intraday and positional strategies

The platform provides flexibility for traders to implement diverse options trading strategies, catering to various trading preferences and styles. We can build your logic for you at a nominal charge.

Upon making a strategy public, Tradetron initiates a paper trade deployment for that strategy. This deployment remains unmodifiable and inaccessible to the creators of the strategy. The marketplace statistics are then derived based on the performance of this standardized paper trade deployment.

Token generation is a one-time authentication process essential for authorizing Tradetron to execute trades in your brokerage account.

No, Tradetron subscriptions are non-refundable.
